Day 11 Coopers Creek to Jundah ( Thomson River Free Camp)

 After a leisurely start it was a short 100km to Jundah along the Thomson Development Road. Originally we were going to catch up with some friends who have a property on this road but things didn't fall into place so we stopped at this great free camp just outside of Jundah right on the Thomson River, 

Beautiful spot but only one problem - the flies were awful even Russ had a fly veil on to stop them. We went for a walk with veils on and lots of aerogard just to keep them slightly at bay. You had to sit in the van to get any relief . 

Luckily they disappeared at sundown so we were able to sit outside. No stars tonight as we were on the edge of the weather down south with just the occasional spot of rain.
